Waltons Oy Koskenkylässä tekee ainakin gluteenitonta tavallista mustaa lakua

    Gluteeniton laku
Vähittäiskaupoissa olevan gluteenittoman lakritsin valmistaja on edelleen
sama eli Walton´s Oy, markkinoijana toimii Porvoon lakritsi. Tuotteessa
maissijauho on nyt korvattu riisijauholla ja pussin ulkoasua on
muutettu. Lakua on saatavissa pääosin S-ryhmän kaupoista.

Hi Alexander and welcome to Glu.fi Here's answers for you:

    1) Biggest S-Market stores sell gluten-free licorice (Porvoon Lakritsi Gluteeniton Lakritsi) at least in Helsinki (maybe in Lappeenranta too). You can find more S-Market info here: http://www.s-kanava.fi/valtakunnallinen_en/etusivu/ (in english)
    2) It's sold in 100 grams packets which cost about 1.8 euros = 80 rubles.
    3) Packet is white and it has yellow label with ingredients list and Porvoon lakritsi logo. You can't miss it, packet is way different than other candies.

If you like to have other gluten-free candies many of Cloetta Fazer products are gluten-free and also Leaf products.

Here's Fazer's product search and here Leaf's product search.

I hope you get your gluten-free candies

    Molasses Licorise

This is another gluten free licorise that is sold in Finland and this one you can find from shops called "Punnitse ja säästä". There is three shops in Helsinki and here is the adresses:

    Fredrikinkatu 55
    00100 Helsinki

    Hämeentie 50
    00500 Helsinki

    Itäkeskuksen kauppakeskus
    00930 HELSINKI

The last one is in mall called "Itäkeskus" and you get there by metro.

I have never bought glycerin but I think that you should ask it from pharmacy.

    Thank you.

For me I thin will be the best buy weighed out licorice.
100 grams pack is not so good when you need 1-2 rilogrammes.

And will be good find one place where possible buy all I need (licorice, candies and bubble gum)

As i wrote I need tell another man all detailed information (address, amount, price). It's a hard a little bit when you can't see all items and don't know how they look, wight for all of them and flavor and price for each one.

May be somethere possible findnd online shop or normal shop but with all details of products?

For example in England or USA I can see many online shops and everything is clear: I can just choose what I need and tell full information.

But here it's hard. I have no guaranty - if I'll tell address to delivery man, he can don't found some items or can see another price, another weight..

The main problem here is I need full detailed and confirmed information. The best if I can ask seller about all things and get his confirmation about everything is ok.

  • nifty5 14 messages10/10/2009 8:17 PM

    Thanx for your help
but if someone know online shops or shops with website with detailed infornmation let me know please.

P.S. I think fazer is not so good for me. I don't want choclade and I need a hard candies.

    Hi Alexander!

The best information was on Jezu's answer above!

You can buy gluten free licorice only in small packages (you can't weight them yourself, it's only in 100g packages) in Finland.

Tell your delivery man go to Lappeenranta S-market and buy the licorice there. Only people in the market know the exact price because every market has their own price for products. But one bag costs about 2 euros.

Finnish people don't really like hard candies. So it might be difficult to find them.

    http://www.allermiina.fi/shop/product_catalog.php?c=2
Has some gluten free products. But it's only in finnish... And the products you see there are only sold in Tampere (in their shop) or through webshop. Not in market's.

    Best of luck!

    ok..
    1) Can I buy Maoam chewing candies in S-market too?
How much cost and amount in pack anybody know?
    2) Which bubble gum is gluten-free in Finland and where is it?

  • Jezu  Admin10/10/2009 10:30 PM

You can buy gluten-free licorice online from Keliapuoti. But they only deliver in Finland.

I use Wrigley's Airwaves Menthol & Eucalyptus chewing gum. There's nothing "illegal" in ingredients list though there's no separate gluten-free text or logo.

  • Suviih  629 messages10/13/2009 5:24 PM

You can buy Glyseroli from big pharmacies. Glyseroli that they sell is called "Apteekin" and you must ask it from staff. I'm not sure, but they might have to order it for you and it might take couple days.

In this site is photo of bottle, it's that brown bottle that is bigger than others:

Nifty, if you want hard candy, "BonBon Kaatissäkki" is gluten-free (there is nothing "illegal" in ingredients list).
Here is photo of it: BonBon Kaatissäkki

IFA licorise pastils are also gluten-free:
    IFA

"Fazerin Parhain - Fazers bästa" is gluten-free and candies are hard (and you can find it almost in every shops in Finland)
    Fazerin parhain

From that karkkigalleria.fi site you find also pictures of candies that I listed earlier. There is prices too, but those candies are mostly cheaper in shops.
