In Finland almost everybody have at least heard about celiac disease and many knows what gluten-free diet means.
Even the smallest grocery stores sell gluten-free bread and other gf products. Many products have gluten-free symbols or texts and allergen lists show wheat, rye, barley and oat ingredients. There's is also many "pure oat" products that celiacs can eat.
Biggest restaurant chains have gluten-free symbols in menus and server know what gluten-free means. McDonalds and other burger chains sell gluten-free burgers (with buns). Kotipizza chain and many other pizzerias sell gluten-free pizza.
Others can comment - is Finland paradise for celiacs or is there some even better countries?Keliaakikko vm. -07 / Celiac since -07
